NATURE OF PHOTOGRAPHY VIEW THROUGH MY LENS PENNSYLVANIA'S NATURAL WORLD

I have always appreciated and promoted respect for our natural environment. Through my 34 years of teaching photography and practicing it professionally, I have come to realize its importance in my life. My hope is my photographs will help generate an awareness needed to preserve nature for future generations and to inspire others to feel the way I do.
All images displayed were taken in Pennsylvania with no sign of man within the photograph and taken solely in the environment where the animal thrives. I take great care to not disrupt the environment while taking my photos.
We take pride in our unique, handcrafted, rough-cut frames which are included to enhance your viewing pleasure.
All images are printed in-house and on demand. The images represented on Nature of Photography are in the true color nature created. Minimal digital manipulation occurs giving the print a true representation of what it looked like in the wilds of Pennsylvania.
In our gallery, each image is displayed with the framing of the photograph. We pride ourselves in true-to-nature, creative photography that has not been digitally manipulated . Select each image to view a larger representation and ordering information. Photographs purchased are framed as shown and ready for display .
Periodically, I will be inviting a guest photographer to my site to displaying their interests and creativity. My first guest photographer is Ben Hutton. His interests in astronomy and nature photography are on display; and as you will see, are creative and intriguing. View his biography and work below.
My passion for photography began in college when I first observed the Milky Way Galaxy in Quebec, Canada. After gazing upon the heavens, I felt the desire to share my views with family and friends through photography. When I started learning and practicing astrophotography, my travels took me to destinations that I felt were shareable with more than the people I associate with. Much like the founder of Nature of Photography, I share a deep connection with the natural world in my personal life and profession as a biology teacher. While my photos are not just based out of Pennsylvania, they are dedicated to the beauty, grace, and tranquility brought forth by Mother Nature.
